Dr. (Col.) Vijay Langer is an MBBS graduate from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. He completed his MS and DNB (General Surgery) in 1998. He further completed his MCh in Plastic Surgery also from AFMC in the year 2005 and then was awarded a Gold Medal in DNB Plastic Surgery.
He was actively involved in treating the wounded soldier and his family for over two decades.
He has been a Plastic, Hand and Cosmetic Surgeon par excellence.
He has been actively involved in teaching and presenting papers on his quality work within the country and abroad. He has ably trained many General and Plastic Surgeons over the years, and has also been an examiner for MS (Gen Surg) and DNB (Plastic Surgery).

Dr. Langer has had a distinguished service with the Indian Armed Forces Medical Services for 28 years, has amassed a wealth of clinical experience of over 19 years in Plastic Surgery, and is now pursuing his passion in Cosmetic, Hand and holistic Plastic Surgery at Fortis (LaFemme, Escorts, Vasant Kunj), Sitaram Bhartia, Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, Rainbow Children’s Hospital and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute. He is also an active member of Mission Smile Foundation, an NGO helping treat children with cleft lip and palate deformities.
